    Event Description:
    Run or hike 3.8 miles up the Danny On trail to the summit of Big Mountain and support the Glacier Nordic Ski Team. 

    When: Saturday, August 4, 2018, 10 am
    Where: Base of Big Mountain at Whitefish Mountain Resort, Whitefish, MT
    Start: 10 am at the Danny On Trailhead in the Upper Village (near Hellroaring Saloon)
    Getting down the mountain: Participants will receive a pass to ride the chair lift down the mountain. Dogs may not ride the lift.

    Event Description:
    * Run or hike 3.8 miles with 2,434 ft. elevation gain to the summit of Big Mountain
    * Compete for the title of  King and Queen, Prince and Princess of the Mountain - handmade plates for 1st place finishers. 
    * Dogs are invited to race (with their humans); prizes for fastest Dog . Dogs must be on a leash.

    Fees/Admission:
    Cost:  $15 per individual, $40 per family,   $10 for Juniors (16 and under).  Day of prices increase by $5 per racer.
