Join us as we kick off our fourth year of Groovin on January 7 with David Walburn. Come enjoy some great music, great food with great friends and support a great cause. David Walburn has written and recorded five independent CDs, and although he hails from the south, his original music has a unique Montana quality. For the past 20 years, David has spent the winters touring the country with his critically acclaimed multi-media shows and his summers were spent performing at the Many Glacier Hotel in Glacier National Park. His original melodies with distinctive lyrics keep with the tradition of the popular singer/songwriters from the 60's and 70's. January's beneficiary is Heart Locker. The HEART Locker is a facility that is set up like a store for students in need. Heart Locker locations receive donated clothing, shoes, hygiene products, and school supplies. All of the items in the Locker are FREE for the students and allows them to have choice in what they wear. Everyone feels better when they look good, and for many of these students “school clothes shopping” is simply not an option. Groovin' partners include the 406 Woman magazine, the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts.
