    Event Description:

    The Whitefish Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the end of the 2016-17 ski season in grand style March 29 ... while also celebrating the contributions that local businesses -- and residents -- make to the Whitefish community.
     
    This year's edition of the Chamber's annual Community Awards Gala is being billed as the "Largest (Almost) Apres Ski Season Party" anywhere, and we'll use the opportunity to pay tribute to a number of individuals and organizations that have been instrumental in the growth and development of the local ski industry and its many offshoots.
     
    In addition, the Chamber will announce its Business of the Year, Tourism Business of the Year, Citizen of the Year and Great Whitefish Award winners for 2017 ... all with "vintage" ski footage from the early days of Big Mountain playing on the big screen, and enjoying great apres ski-style food and drink at the O'Shaughnessy Center.
