If you stay in town, getting to Whitefish Mountain Resort is easy. Just hop on the free Snow bus, which shuttles between Whitefish and Whitefish Mountain Resort.

A huge array of designated Nordic touring trails of varying difficulty is available throughout the Whitefish area. Whitefish Mountain Resort offers 16 kilometers of groomed world-class trails for skate and classic skiing, including on-site rental equipment and instruction.

Tours in Glacier National Park take you through breathtaking scenery. The Whitefish Lake Golf Club magically transforms into the Glacier Nordic Center in winter, a 15- kilometer Nordic touring center that is tracked and groomed for skating and classic skiing, accessible from Grouse Mountain Lodge’s fairway deck.
