Amazing Crepes Café in Whitefish, Montana is growing and seeking a General Manager. We have been proudly serving locals and tourists for nearly 20 years, and Amazing Crepes is among the top-rated restaurants in Whitefish on TripAdvisor, Google, and Yelp. We offer sweet and savory authentic French crepes from our exhibition-style kitchen that is a staple of the Whitefish experience. The restaurant is locally owned and is currently managed by the Owner and another senior manager. Following very strong growth in 2021 and 2022, the owner is seeking an experienced General Manager to assume responsibility for day-to-day management and financial results and support future growth expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure highest standards of food and operational safety
- Consistently meet or exceed company key performance indicators (KPI's) for food costs, labor/wage expense, net operating income, service times, employee turnover, and health department ratings
- Manage staffing function including: recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, promotions, compensation, approving payroll, and disciplinary action
- Oversee Operations Manager, Shift Leads, and customer service staff. 10-25 people total, depending on season. Provide coaching, training, development opportunities, and feedback
- Anticipate and manage all aspects of seasonal business fluctuation, peaking June-Sept.
- Fill in on the floor as needed
- Develop and implement strategies to grow sales
- Purchasing and sourcing ingredients
- Inventory management
- Foster positive work environment
- Problem solve day-to-day issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience
- Current ServSafe Manager Certification
- Prior managerial experience (2 years minimum) in food and beverage industry
- Full time. Flexible work schedule, but must include weekends and most holidays (excluding Christmas and Thanksgiving)
- Valid driver's license and vehicle
- Able to lift 50# and work on your feet for extended periods of time
Compensation:
- Base salary $50,000-$60,000 DOE, plus monthly and annual bonus based on KPIs.
- 2 weeks paid time off, accrued monthly
