Responsible for preparation of all hot and cold foods to be served to hospital patients, cafeteria patrons and catering events.
30 – 40 hours/week, shifts scheduled between 5:30am and 8pm on variable days. It requires working weekends and holidays as scheduled.
The need could be for up to 12 weeks.
Education and Experience Requirements
Requires: Cooking experience; Serv Safe Certification within 90 days of hire; ability to read, write and understand oral and written instructions and standardized recipes; customer service skills; flexibility to cover varying shifts/hours; must be able to work weekends and holidays as scheduled/requested.
Desire: High school diploma/GED; and one year of cooking or two years of food service training and/or experience.
Pay: $15.25 or higher DOE
As it relates to dress code, our Cooks wear black pants, non-slip shoes and we provide shirts.
Able to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.
