    Guest Service Specialist
    As a Guest Service Specialist, you would be responsible for performing tasks to the highest standards.
    You are to establish and provide excellent customer service for all our guests upon arrival and throughout their stay. Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
    You will be registering, receiving and posting proper payments of guest accounts. Assign rooms and cottages, issue keys and discuss Belton Chalet property instructions with guests. Knowledge of Glacier National Park and all of its facilities and activities so that information passed on to guests is informative and accurate. Offer informative information about available points of interest, local events and entertainment.
    Make, confirm, assist and cancel reservations. Answer telephone in the specified time frames following proper guidelines and using correct greetings and telephone etiquette.  Record or transfer messages accurately, timely and legibly. Handle all lost and found items by tagging the item and notifying the guest.  You are required to report all guest issues, concerns and complaints to Lodge Manager.
    Maintain complete knowledge of company equipment and keep your front desk space neat and organized. Accurately follow cash handling procedures and make sure the cash drawer is secure at all times. Post charges to guest accounts for items or services purchased. Coordinate guest wake up calls and forward any guest messages to guests in a timely manner. Present invoices to guests upon departure.
    You will be promoting and selling gift shop items and additional services. You are required to have general computer skills, the ability to learn quickly and follow instructions accurately.  Must be flexible and open to changes in procedures. The ability to work quickly, thoroughly under pressure. You should be able to handle guest issues in a tactful and caring manner.
    You will maintain appearance and uniform standards. Develop positive communication and teamwork with all co-workers, management and owners. Completes all tasks assigned by the Lodge Manager. Assists in other departments or with other job duties as requested or necessary. This job requires standing for long periods of time, bending, stretching, reaching and walking stairs.
