    Lodge/Hotel Manager Job Description
    Delivering a first class hospitality takes a critical eye for quality, and we want a Lodging Manager who has the same critical eye. You are responsible for continually focusing on achieving hotel profitability through revenue generation, cost control, guest satisfaction and developing team members while maintaining the integrity of the hotel. Professional in appearance and leadership, setting an example to the staff and local community.
    JOB DESCRIPTION: The Lodge Manager oversees all aspects of the Lodge and Cottages in accordance with the company standards, state and federal regulations. Maximize financial performance and ensures high satisfaction with owners, guests and employees.
    Manage day-to-day operations and assignments of the Lodge. Plan and organize work, communicate goals, and schedule/assign work. Comply with and advise staff of formal policies and procedures, identify options and resolve issues.
    Recruiting, hiring, training and mentoring employees to reach their highest potential and goals while maintaining the Belton Way. Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
    Provide and maintain exceptional guest services. Respond promptly to the needs, complaints, comments and concerns of guests and hotel management and staff.
    Maintain the safety and security of the guests and their property at all times. Ensure guest complaints are resolved appropriately and that appropriate service recovery gestures are made in order to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
    Keep manager team and owners updated on property performance in the areas of financials, guest satisfaction, and team member engagement.
    Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the hotel and its assets through enforcing and maintaining preventative maintenance program.
    Self-driven, you should have superior organizational skills, integrity, and great follow thru on all tasks. You don’t get overwhelmed easily by al the demands of the departments.
    Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Business Administration strongly preferred or a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in lodging.
    Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, percentages, proficient with computers, word, excel and publisher.
    This position requires bending, lifting, walking and many stairs. You may be required to lift 50 pounds.
