This person is a personable, organized and hard-working individual with great attention to detail & time management skills to assist in managing and maintaining our properties. Must work well in team setting, but also be independent in staying on task without needing to be micro managed.
Under guidance from the Maintenance Director, the Property Inspector will be responsible for home inspections associated with our many properties. General property upkeep and a positive attitude is a must!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate, complete and track inspector projects/tasks assigned to you
- Complete pre and post check in inspections to monitor safe and working conditions of properties such as damage, cleanliness & lost or forgotten items
- Schedule & manage completion of any repairs or maintenance needed in the units
- Minor maintenance issues, such as replacement of light bulbs and batteries
- Responsible for inventory control and proper utilization of maintenance supplies and equipment
- Establish daily schedule, prioritizing inspections, & managing time in an effective manner
- Keeping accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, inventory, and purchasing
- Maintain working relations with vendors, including product knowledge
- Maintain courteous communication with residents & team
