    Position Responsibilities
    • Presents a friendly and welcoming presence to the Human Resource and Employee Health Department.
    • Responds to inquiries in a courteous and responsive manner.
    • Processes department mail
    • Orders offices supplies and maintains levels to support department needs
    • Scans records in a timely fashion to employee files
    • Maintains and updates various department forms as needed
    • Monitors license expiration dates for the organization
    • Coordinates employee events as directed by Senior Leadership
    • Assists supervisors and employees with tool box awards
    • Supports the new-hire on-boarding process
    • Tracks and submits termination/resignation dates and submits forms to payroll in a timely fashion.  Initiates access termination through the Help Desk and notifies pertinent personnel.
    • Researches events and prepares correspondence to federal and states agencies as needed (ex: unemployment queries)
    • Completes all wage verification requests.
    Maintains HR Electronic Platforms.
    1. Helps applicants and internal users utilize the recruitment software.
    2. Maintains the identification badge program and record keeping to support badge authorization, security changes and terminations.
    3. Operates within policy guidelines to screen Vendors by utilizing the vendor credentialing system in place, or screening credentials appropriately.
    4. Maintains badge management computer application for dietary department’s payroll deduction program.
    5. Utilizes McKesson Registration to enter and maintain McKesson Person Master (Live and Test) for all new employees.
    Support NVH Payroll Processes
    1. Process and respond to garnishments/wage withholding orders.
    2. Assist with payroll reporting including w-2 distribution.
    Student Liaison
    1. Communicates with the educational facility to complete the necessary documentation for student.
    2. Orients students as appropriate.
    Education and Experience Requirements
    Requires: Related coursework beyond high school and experience working in a Human Resource environment or experience working with complex administrative support tasks. Must have proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher and PowerPoint.

    Desire: Related degree beyond high school pertaining to human resources, business or office management. PHR  certifications.
