The May 7th Family Forestry Expo is a FREE family friendly event aimed at connecting people of all ages with the outdoors and making the concepts of forestry and conservation tangible, fun and easy to understand. The event will be located at the Trumbull Creek Educational Forest and will go from 9:00am to 3:00pm with hands on activities running all day. These activities include cross cut saw use and handling, paper making and more. There will also be an opportunity for a self-guided forest walk with educational stations lining the trail, including wildlife presentations and fisheries stations. In addition to that, we will have two demonstrations at 10:30am and 1:30pm of the Mule String Packing Showcase and the FVCC Logger Sports Team. This is an event that is sure to please! Exhibitors from various agencies and conservation groups will be on hand!
